Gary "Litefoot" Davis, a prominent Indigenous filmmaker, has achieved a significant milestone in his career by completing his first feature film script, "Thunder Dreamer." This groundbreaking project revolves around the life of the legendary Oglala Lakota Chief Crazy Horse, a figure of immense historical and cultural significance.

IndigiStudio’s documentary on famed Indigenous athlete, Lyle Thompson, has officially commenced principal photography in New York, embarking on a journey to capture the essence of one of lacrosse's most iconic figures. This phase of the project takes the production crew to a variety of meaningful locations, including Auburn, Syracuse, Albany, and notably, the Onondaga and Mohawk reservations. These areas hold significant value in Lyle's life and career, offering authentic backdrops to his story. Filming will also take place in Georgia and in Ontario, Canada.

The highly anticipated Lyle Thompson Documentary has officially entered its pre-production phase, marking a pivotal step in the journey to bring the inspiring story of the renowned Indigenous lacrosse player to the screen. This documentary will focus on Thompson’s family, community, and personal well-being and promises to offer an intimate look into the life and values of one of professional sport's most exceptional athletes.
